Does Medical Insurance Cover This?

In order to best serve our patients, we are participating providers for: Blue Cross/ Blue Shield, Regence, Premera, Cigna, United Health Care and Medicare. We do NOT accept: Provider One, Medicaid or Molina.

We can also request a ‘gap exception’ from any insurance that we are not a current provider for. A ‘gap exception’, if granted, would allow in-network coverage for you if your plan does not have a qualified ‘in network’ provider in your area.

Most insurance plans cover oral appliances, and your out-of-pocket costs typically range from $0 – $900.00 depending on whether your deductible has been met. Our sleep coordinator will check on the estimated coverage for you and discuss an estimated cost before scheduling you for the appliance fabrication. We also offer extended payment arrangements through Care Credit, and can arrange for special fee allowances for those patients who do not have medical insurance. We want to make it as affordable as possible for you to enjoy a long healthy life that starts with getting a good night’s sleep.

Due to the Corona virus pandemic, and based upon
guidelines issued by the CDC, Washington state
health authorities and the American Dental
Association, our office will be closed to patient
appointments until April 6th. After that date, please
call the office for a status update, as Dr. Rich will be
closely monitoring the ongoing recommendations of
state and federal health care authorities.

We will be in the office during this closure,
providing phone support and completing
administrative tasks. If you are having significant
pain using your MAD, and we are not in the office,
call Dr. Rich directly on his cell phone, 253.350.1345.
Thank you for your understanding as we all work
together to keep everyone safe and healthy.
